This is a bit tardy, but Tyger lost her son a couple weeks ago -- he was overseas and the doctors couldn't save his life. Tyger, when you read this, know that our hearts are full for you.

My son died this morning (US time) in the Phillipines. He caught the flu, then pneumonia. This morning he apparently had a heart attack and fell. I talked briefly with the pneumologist, who said they were attempting to resuscitate, but he'd flatlined. I asked them to continue trying, but after some additional time, they gave up.

This will be a difficult period, as I'm still not well, but I will...

Ciocia Judy's father died this morning (22 Feb 2008). He was sick with cancer for a long time, and it was a struggle right up to the end. We are glad he is no longer in pain.

Steven Birkla, known to some Babblers as Mtnjock, passed away Friday, 1 Sept 2006 after a short illness.

He died at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. I know he loved playing Babble and enjoyed chatting with players. I hope you all know what an amazing man he was: a friend to many, a sincerely kind person who cared about little besides his friends. He was surely a "shirt off his back" person, a true gentleman, and I will miss him very much.

Myers Briggs Types

We had an interesting discussion on personality types on June 8, 2006. Many of us already knew our Myers-Briggs types. Others were curious and interested about it. Although the most accurate typing is done with a long, professionally done test, lots of folks get reasonable results from any of the many online (usually free) tools found through google or another search engine.

Hello Fellow Babblers

Thought I would put a little something in here to introduce myself. Been playing for about a month now and am totally addicted. I am a word puzzle nut. Play online scrabble, crosswords and such. Babble is my favourtie right now. I live in Ontario Canada, just north of Toronto. I have 2 kids, a 10 yr old son and a 17 yr old daughter, 2 cats and a dog. I work in Human Resources which I love.
