The first month was free and then I paid the sign-up fee (3 months for $9.95). Sincerely, Your friends at ezboard WELL, when I went to renew I was shocked to discover the prices had gone waaay up. As I recall, I have been paying around $50 for 6 months at my other site, but this is ridiculous! 3 months for $74 6 months for $123 12 months for $221 I cannot pay this myself. So as I see it, our options are: * let this message board close when the subscription runs out. * have members donate what they can to the Community Chest and pay with that. It is entirely up to you. It was never my intention to solicit funds from anyone to pay for this message board, but I can't afford those prices. If anyone does want to make a contribution to the Community Chest, it is easy and the current balance will always be there for all to see. Sorry folks... center>

I know that ezboard does occasionally 'go down', but I visit this board and 2 others on ezboard several times daily and I have not noticed any down time at all lately. However that is not to say that it hasn't happened when I wasn't 'looking'. I would appreciate it if members would let me know of any down times, how long they last etc. because that is something ezboard does give $$$ credit for. Was the down time maybe on the Babble site itself? If it was, then that is an issue for Dr_God as this board is completely independent of the Babble The Ultimate Word Game site...

I have never had trouble getting to this site. They were down the other day for maintenance, but I think some people have trouble depending on how they play babble, what support they use... some are better than others... Susan

Is this what you intended??? SO MUCH??? I was thinking like $5-10 per person or something!!! I am not sure if it can be refunded, but if you did not intend to donate that much, let me know and I will ask ezboard if they can give you back the money. If you did intend to give that much, thank you so much (and would you like to marry me???) I will hold off paying the subscription until I hear from you. You can communicate with me privately if youi like by using the ezInbox (top right hand corner) In the meantime, all others hold off contributing. We don't want a huge amount of money in the CC, just enough to pay the bills and that seems to be the case right now. The way it works is that people put whatever they can (and for some people that is nothing and that is OK!!!) into the Community Chest, then I, as Admin, pay the bills. You contribute to the CC by either using a credit card or Paypal. I am not too comfortable with receiving cheques, sorry. I have NO ACCESS to the actual $$$ for personal use, and can only use it for ezboard services.
